P - great to visit your blog after some time away. I'm inspired by your work as I am with Jay's; however for an entirely different reason. Without knowing your educational background I wonder about your education in the English language. You have speak with such articulation that I would assume you are a native English speaker; yet many would not make this assumption.

Never before has the power of a word held greater importance than today. The advent and proliferation of blogs, email, wikis, and an endless stream of other web 2.0 technologies has brought us to a place where the "word" holds power for those who know how to use it. I am continually surprised by the power of conversation both written and in person, and the lack of awareness that most people have for both.

Thanks for posting this article. But you did not mention Flashcards - and I think they are extremely useful.
I am the host of the Just Vocabulary Podcast. I started this podcast 2 years ago to offer English as a Second language-students the SAT, GRE and TOEFL words in a short audio file with synonyms, antonyms and example sentences.

Also, would it be possible to add my podcast as a resource? I look forward to hear from you, thank you,
Jan
