Sun and Moon

In a game of unison.
Sunny Sun was Nature’s pet son,
who irks moon by tons.

But moon, a poor bun
Stepped out to run,
under the threat of stardom,
of glowing son:
scion of Energetic don,
to darker incarnation
of day’s marathon.

So, the moon fathoms
“rise so, when departs the sun
lest burns he me for fault none”.

Then, one day seldom,
the Mother of Moon had come,
in between her son and sun
barring their vision,
and Ray’s constant run.

Chum! Let’s have some fun
in this game of moon and sun
where eclipse spares none!
