close to 9 % in steel consumption across the world. China alone has recorded + 14 % growth and is contributing to nearly 40 % of world steel production. Indian steel industry has come to 7th position in the world and is aspiring to reach 2nd position in the years to come.
CONSULTANCY has a significant role in supporting and sustaining long term growth of Industry by ensuring that we install the best of technology at a given point of time. In steel sector, KORUS based in Delhi, has a place among the top three consulting organizations with clients like -

KORUS is presently working for more than 20 prestigious steel projects covering - Iron Ore Palletizing, Sintering, Mini Blast Furnaces, DRI kilns, Steel Melting Shops with vacuum degassing and concast facilities, Hot Rolling Mills (Plate Mills, Blooming & Billet Mills, Bar Mills, Wire Rod Mills and Hot Strip Mills).
Promoted by a group of Engineers KORUS based in Delhi was set up in Feb 2005 and has a multi-disciplinary team of over 150; over 10,000 sq ft floor space, 125 systems with AutoCAD Mech 2007, LT, Revit, STAAD, RISA etc software.
Engineering graduates today have ample opportunities in the area of IT /ITeS, manufacturing and management. The application of Engineering Knowledge in most of these professions varies between (say) 5 – 50 % maximum. But CONSULTANCY is an area that requires 100 % application of engineering concepts and calls for continuous learning & research as one advances in career.
