(Part 19: SPRING A SPANNER IN THE SPROCKET)

Abstract
The tools serve to do a range of works, from physical and manual work to measure, and to innovate, or even (tools to) extrapolate a higher order thinking. Tools are not only physical (hard) or soft, even People can act as tools and devices, some good and some act like spanner in the sprocket. There are four kinds of people, one who are unaffected by impacts and others who act like change agents. Both of these extreme categories have spanners in their hands and use them as per the culture or attitude, duly imparted by the environment in which they grow. The analysers and defenders in the intermediate categories lead to deployment of the organisation stimuli built by the structure imparted to it. The way these people conduct in their daily life, while they facilitate total productive maintenance (TPM) of systems, tools and men at the base govern the character they impart to the organisation. Alas the reactors with a negative attitude were not at large!
The process may be complex, but Tools and Technology are invented to make them simpler. The objective is to introduce means by which the spinning of the change is fool proofed. By doing this the people tend to, through a re-newed environment, infuse right blood into the organisation. However, this blood is not organic as the conventional one residing in organisms. This blood is systemic but functions in the same way as the conventional one towards the objective of making the organizations debonair. This paper attempts to build in a ground-map for organisations’ rejuvenation.
